This read is a very good book. It will definitely get you “in the feels”. If you could not handle a book that will make you emotional, I wouldn’t recommend this. Honestly, it made me cry. This is a great book though! Though I favor Brandon’s, both sides of the story are great. The end is also so great. I wish every book had a resolution like this one. I would recommend this book for grade 4-7, although younger students might have trouble with certain vocabulary. Some of the story is also in Pashto, for the segment of the book that takes place in Afghanistan. An enjoyable book that I recommend for anyone. Once you read it you can’t stop! I wanted to keep reading from chapter 1!
