This movie was a lot of fun. Sort of like top gun 2–you get what you anticipated without the added “benefit” of social commentary or deeper meaning. Just a solid plot, much funnier than expected, and Mario references.

Had some really good and funny moments, some great payoffs thanks to the writing, memorable characters. However, the ending doesn’t carry much weight for a younger generation unfamiliar with Charles Manson.

Really good book. I wish there was more simplicity and pictures. A lot of repetition in what he’s saying makes this book kind of difficult to read, though the concepts are quite simple. Reading now through Job 29, i see that he is living life FOR God, while his friends are UNDER God. At first I was surprised Jethani never mentioned Job in the book (at least, as far as I remember), but then I thought: A good book keeps me wanting more or thinking about its premise, and this one has done it! The concepts are widely applicable and will help you see through a new lens.
