I’m not sure why would a show not follow the actual book ! There are characters in this show that don’t exist in the book . Andy is nothing like this in the book , in fact the book is a journey for discovering who she actually can become . And Laura/ Jane … well didn’t picture Toni Colette who I actually love but not on this show :( I only managed 3 episodes … Very disappointed :(
