It was a good-ish movie. The make up, clothing, and CGI were great. As well as the first hour of the movie. However, the last 30 minutes was a bum rush of events. As if the writers and directors needed to find a way to end the movie “smoothly”. Everything lined up in the end… yet, all of the scenes were rushed and without detail and didn’t match the rest of the movie. Suddenly the protagonist becomes a seasoned hero with only one fell swoop of practice.
It seemed like the movie would be amazing as a show. Imagery wise, everything was there that a fan or watcher could ask for. However, the wrap up was a doosie, and I wish it were otherwise.
6/10, try again.
