This show started off seemingly original. But it basically does what JJ Abrams is so famous for. There's always an event, mysterious good and bad sides, semi-paranormal elements. Goofy twists. Numbers and puzzles that have special meaning, etc. He reuses the same concepts from all of his shows like Lost, Fringe, Westworld, and others. It is the reason this show was likely cancelled. He needs to come up with better original thought and not re-use things the way he does.
