I really enjoy this show which starts out as a show about an autistic child. As his family, teachers and neighbors come to terms with Joe's diagnosis, their relationships and shortcomings are unveiled in new light. Several actors actually have Downs Syndrome or autism. As the story evolves, each character sees some of his/her defects or shortcomings in the "behaviors" of the diagnosed and acceptance of their "disabilities" encourages acceptance of their own shortcomings and failures as parents, spouses, friends. Diverse cast, excellent writing and scenic views.
