I really enjoyed the show. Growing up in Germany near the teutoburger forest, I was of course very well acquainted with the story of Arminius and the battle. Also loved that the Romans spoke ancient latin. However living in the US, I watched it in English and it was well executed. Actually I like the English dubbing better, than the German version. Why ? Because it becomes painfully clear, that the German speaking actors were mediocre at best. Arminius speaking in an "Austrian" dialect was a big turn off for me in the original version. All in all, loved the show...
