I've gotten a bit tired of Disney's live-action remakes so I went into The Little Mermaid with low expectations, but I was totally blown away! With the new songs and the depth added to many of the characters, I found that I actually really love this movie! Halle Bailey does a fantastic job and captures the essence of Ariel. I definitely recommend this movie -- I thought that it was beautifully done!
