If you’re seduced by thrilling nonsense you’re really going to enjoy this. When you’re the last pilot left on a hijacked airplane and you’re down to only one good arm, you don’t scream, cry, and pound that last limb on the furniture each time something upsets you. The second half was weak for a good a reason; there shouldn’t have been a second half. The pilot should have been on the ground within minutes after he secured the flight deck. As an airline pilot of 35 years and who flies the Airbus 319, I know of no fellow aviator who would have behaved so emotionally and who would not have landed immediately. Mind you, 15 minute movies aren’t very engaging. The money they saved on location should have been invested on a good airline industry consultant.
