I am a big fan of Julia Quinn's books, and I adore the series. I love the diversity of the cast, and although I know many history buffs are upset about the inclusion of black actors playing aristocrats during the Regency period, I would like to remind them that this is a fictional series, and fiction allows creativity to blossom. I very rarely think that anything on screen can rival the written word, but Shonda Rhimes has done a wonderful job with this series, and while it differs in many ways from Julia Quinn's books, it's wonderful to watch.
