Why would you air a show that depicts the developers and management team as inept? The house didnt have a roof on certain sections and they started interior buildout.
Roof first, which would have exposed roofing issues. It was obvious it needed roof repair from the street. Final design decisions cant be locked in until demo is complete, a roof is on and structural corrections have to be done (build back stage achieved). $28000 for landscaping is ignorant, plain and simple. The PM who did not have a strategy to get the house to build back stage is not a PM. That roofing job is $12k period, was always 12k and anything more is price gouging. The plumbing cost are legit and the Electrical work is $2500. Structural work and interior buildout is $20-25k. $75 k was going to be tight, but $102k which isn't a bad amount was more than actually needed. The landscaper got them. And she stated a 1/4 acre which should have caused them approach the landscaping differently. Lastly, not accurately identifying your comps thre the whole planning and budgeting off. A $110k budget makes that go infinitely smoother and still achieve the originally expected interior finish schedule. I understand the drama and surprises are part of the house flipping appeal, but this doesn't look good.
