Assassin's Creed Mirage has been a delightful surprise, especially for those who appreciate the series' classic roots. While some critics may dismiss it for lacking the massive scale of recent titles, I found its focused and richly detailed 9th-century Baghdad setting to be a breath of fresh air. The return to stealth-focused gameplay and refined parkour mechanics felt like a perfect homage to the series' origins, which I found incredibly satisfying. The narrative and character development were engaging and immersive, standing out amidst the historical backdrop. It’s surprising to see negative reactions when Mirage offers such a compelling and nostalgic experience. For me, it’s a standout entry that combines the best of the old with thoughtful innovations, proving that sometimes less is truly more.
