The series could've started with this book because I do not care for the other characters. I like the not-so-perfect character, and the struggles to be good or do the right thing. The low confidence that you deserve better or people's forgiveness after you have wronged them. The rest of the series with the glorification of the so-perfect God-sent Feyre just makes my stomach churn.
