I truly believe this angle of Elvis's life needed to be told. Baz did an absolutely outstanding job, in this biopic. I've been an Elvis fan my whole life. A couple things I have to admit not knowing before watching...SUCH a shame that E, not only had an evil, selfish manager(parasite), but also a gutless wonder of a father in Vernon as well. BOTH were guilty is Elvis's early demise.

Elsa's narration was poetry. The prose & drawl as the words easily slipped from her mouth, was beautiful. Life was hard then, and no apologies were needed. I truly loved the show, no spoilers here. It's great to see that someone can still create a show, a western, that stirs my blood.
