From the point of view of a critic, I feel like I’ve seen these kinds of movies over a million times. The plot, while simple - seemed rehashed but then got extremely convoluted halfway through. Pretty predictable too. Overall nothing about this movie was really spectacular nor terrible.

Extremely unfortunate that this game never made it to North America. The game fixed all of the issues Earthbound/Mother 2 had and added so many memorable characters and an excellent storyline. Anyone who loves playing JRPGs needs to play this.
