A protracted-slow-motion-action-enthused period drama. The movie could have been better, had it been shorter. There are many failed attempts at humour throughout the movie. Same derivative bollywood action template wherein the goons (here pathan soldiers) come one-at-a-time at the protagonist, the pathans stop attacking if Akshay Kumar gives a motivational speech. Even in a small hall full of Pathans and only one Sikh (Akshay Kumar), they come one-at-a-time at him. I slept through 30% of the movie. Movie would have done better as a documentary.
