The discovery of India by Jawaharlal Nehru is indispensable reading for anyone interested in knowing India. Nehru delves deep insofar as he can into every detail and delineated meticulously. Though the book has been written more than 60 years ago, the ethos and the idea depicted in the book are even relevant today. Nehru's eloquence and his mastery of writing make 'the discovery of India' a stimulating reading for readers.

Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian sea has been directed by Priyadarshan who is a Malayalam filmmaker, has been working in the industry for more than three decades. Firstly, the film is, of course, a visual treat. The technical crew has done a great job. However, while the director gazed too much on the technical aspects, he forgot about the preponderant element: the script. In some scenes, dialogue delivery of the characters seemed as if stage drama. Besides, comparing this film with other Industries may not be reasonable. In summary, for those who wish to watch the film without any prejudice, it would be a decent experience.
