What a brilliant book! The beginning was a bit rough for me, since there were a lot of characters at play. But I slowly familiarized myself with them, and then the book picked up pace exponentially. I couldn't put the book down in the last 150 pages, and I've never liked a hard sci-fi so much! It left me craving for more, and I can't wait to read the sequels. If you're a sci-fi fan, this book is highly recommended for you.

A really intriguing read. This book sets up the plot for the next two in the trilogy, and then there is a bonus fourth book! I liked the whole premise of the book, and the best part was the character development.

A handful of shows can summarise my whole childhood, and this was one of them. Waiting for the new episode, watching it with the cooler running in the background, me sitting on the floor, it's all still fresh in my head. An absolute classic, I will always reminisce this show.

This book is like having a conversation with your friend, in that, your friend is imparting some wisdom. The language is raw, easy to grasp, there is nothing very technical being said, and you feel like you already know what he is saying, but never really realized it until this moment. It's a simple book which talks about the very basics of life, but these things are counter-intuitive, and hence we don't really think about them until Mark tells us. The language used in the book is as raw as the title, but it is a good change that kind of makes the book feel alive.
