Very upsetting movie, for anyone who values human life over the POWER and GREED that ‘The Dick’ Cheney couldn’t control. I’d forgotten (mercifully) the damage, on a world-wide scale, caused by Cheney, Rummy Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and the new-cons who LIED the US into the worst war since Viet Nam, which most of us thought, ‘could never happen again’. Fantastic performance by Christian Bale, playing a ‘monster’ with few human characteristics. It’s too bad the people who NEED to see it WON’T, cuz they continue to believe the LIES, not wanting to face the damage from ‘one of their own’. Sickening, but nothing new, as it felt like having a scab ripped from my psyche......

Wasn’t sure what to expect, after really liking Bohemian Rhapsody, but Rocket Man was just as good, in a different way. More of a musical production and it seemed more ‘real’ in it’s own way, knowing that Elton John produced it and was involved in every way. Moved along very well considering the time jumps and the three actors portraying Elton, or Reginald Dwight. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed in this well done bio pic, that gives you a new appreciation for the fantastic, unique artist.
