I just watched this on Netflix and can't get over how good it is. It expresses the power of parenting and how badly you can screw up a child. The writing is master class, and the setting is very encapsulating. My biggest regret is not watching this at Salem Cinema (Salem, OR) when I worked there and it was playing. This movie seemed to come and go and I never thought much of it. It's really a shame this didn't win any Oscars. Give it a watch!
