(SPOILERS) Good game. Hard to put into words. It took a bad time and made it worse. The whole story is filled with dread and sorrow for the loved ones back home and the unfortunate ones who were still being slaughtered on other worlds. There is no happy ending that could have been possible in this world. It was doomed from the start. People being disappointed in the ending of the campaign are like children who don't get a candy just because they did something they were supposed to. You don't get what you want simply because you tried. In what universe could there possibly be a good ending? Everyone's homes were destroyed, their entire livelihood. Entire future generations are going to feel the aftermath of this galactic war. Sure you can settle down with your love interest, make a new home, retire with garrus... but could you really? The whole galaxy needs rebuilding. Shepard becomming the reapers and rebuilding the galaxy seems to be the best outcome for everyone. He was a hero through and through. Willing to do whatever it would take to ensure that life goes on. Making the best of a bad time was my take on this game. It was beautiful, start to finish.
