Opening scene draws you in, then everything goes downhill. It’s endlessly frustrating to watch where action scenes have gaps in cognitive process. I mean, if you were holding a gun and about to be shot at by a baddy, wouldn’t you shoot first ?, but no, you hide under the table. The script is hopeless really, probably written to draw the whole lot out over four episodes. What is lacking really is the direction of the Cohen brothers, who really do have a supreme grip on this stuff. With the Cohens involved and far more pace with better script this would have been compelling, but alas it’s a combination of Neighbours and a very poor western.
