Parts of the movie are definitely exaggerated but overall it provides great suspense and entertainment. It reminds me of the old definition of a tragedy which is the willing suspension of disbelief for the moment which constitutes poetic faith. Definitely worth watching but with a grain of salt as to accuracy.
