Terrible. Self-important drivel with no real meaning behind its shiny surface. I held on for a little while, hoping I was wrong, but sadly, I was correct. Like most “popular” entertainment nowadays, this show is slow, two-dimensional, and haughtily forced. It focuses way too hard on a subject that should come easily because this scenario has been a plot line for LOADS of other (more interesting) stories. Not to mention that we ALL JUST LIVED THROUGH IT. Looks like HBO has learned absolutely nothing from the GoT final-season-fiasco. Guess it’s back to Korean dramas for me.
