These 5 star reviews are in an attempt to counter the largely negative feedback the game is receiving. Mainly due to the incredible horrid art style the developer decided to go with. This game in its entirety is a slap to the OG Fan base(the people that got you were you are bioware). None of the choices you made in previous games matter.Which was a staple within the series The combat system is mid at best as if the developers couldn't be bother with actually putting effort into the system. And the cherry on top was the insertion of MODERN DAY IDEOLOGY(Gender politics) into a FANTASY(the irony I know its almost like they like to pretend everywhere) Has turned me away from the franchise permanently. For the love of me how the higher ups allowed what was essentially a HR SENSITIVITY TRAINING SCRIPT into the dialogue is beyond me and that combined with the fact that Bioware and the publisher decided not only to start blacklisting anyone who disagreed or gave criticism but also selectively release early access to preferred and biased YouTubers and influencers(who were more than likely paid for the review) has bioware on notice for me. As far as I'm concerned the new Mass Effect is the final chance for a company I've supported for nearly 22 years of my life. End all be all Veilguard is a disappointment and a slap to the face of OG Fan base of the franchise
