I’ll give the first episode a 3. After playing all the games and reading books, this series has a little bit of game dialogue. Who the hell was kwan in the game? Or the books? One thing I cannot fathom, Master Chief. Maybe the actor playing him is good, but from the game series, he’s always had that distinctive “Master Chief” voice, which was NOT what happened in the series. And if I remember correctly, we NEVER saw Master Chiefs face, EVER. Even after Halo 5 ending. And this was a big let down for that. Like other have mentioned, The Spartans had their memories. And now they have been brain wiped? I think paramount needs to fire the people who never played the games or read the books, hire producers who HAVE and know the correct way Halo has been told to the world since 2001.
