The book is a decent read. I found the book can be condensed at times. There were good and memorable moments such as Harry's conversation with Dumbledore, introduction to Luna Lovegood, and Hogwarts standing up against Umbridge. Umbridge is the worst. Harry and Cho's relationship is awful. The worst part is when Cho Chang said that Roger Davies asked her out when Roger Davies is near her. Sirius Black is unsympathetic to Harry.

Amazing book with suspense and action. The book has many references to Antiquity technologies and societies. The characters are great.

This book feels like it was written based on the films. I question whether the authors read the entire Harry Potter series. There are so many bad and cringy moments. The plot is full of conveniences and inconsistencies with the Harry Potter canon. The book does not feel like a Harry Potter book. Harry Potter is not the main character, more like a secondary antagonist. I do not see how this play is connected to Harry Potter.
There were a few good moments such as:
- Severus Snape feels deeply moved when Harry gives Albus his middle name
- Amos Diggory questions how many people died for Harry
- Petunia and Harry at Lily's grave
- Flashback scenes
