This is a film for adults. It will bore and bewilder people of limited intelligence and imagination. If you’re familiar with the director’s films, you’ll discover Eggers makes movies relentlessly true to his vision. I’ve never seen a single frame in his films that didn’t serve that vision. Nothing is superfluous, exploitive, or compromised in an effort to make it more palatable for mass consumption. YouTube attention span viewers will undoubtedly be frustrated and confused. Real character development and story arch requiring thoughtful interpretation are considered a “waste of time and money” Don’t believe the ridiculous “0 star” ratings. These are the rantings of trolls whose sole purpose is to be relevant in a world they are intellectually and emotionally incapable of understanding.

This is not the worst movie I have ever seen.

I enjoyed it. I went in knowing very little about, so I won’t reveal anything except I found it very entertaining.
