Putting aside that this is meant to be a television series based in Middle Earth, for something that was supposed to be this monumental series that would stand the test of time as being groundbreaking and unbeatable in its delivery, it has been found disappointingly, *disturbingly* wanting.
My family is finding the episodes to be filled with lines that are half-baked propaganda that is dull in its delivery at best and insulting at its worst;
A story so badly written that anyone not familiar with *anything* about the characters or history of the regions found if bafflingly confusing - which is beyond poor, especially given that amount of so-called 'experts' who have been assisting. Were you honestly expecting to get new viewers in with this?;
Special effects that are decades old, and belong in the sequel to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as opposed to a supposed epic such as this...
Where is the billion-dollar-plus masterpiece that we are expecting?
When people who are expecting an entertaining fantasy series fall asleep every episode, there's something wrong here.
There's the key that's been forgotten by Amazon here; people watch fantasy series to be *entertained* and to escape their own world for a while, not have real life rammed down their throats.
We've made it to the fourth episode; we will not bother with any more. We've seen enough to know exactly what this series is all about, and it's NOT to entertain.
House of The Dragon, here we come.
