I stumbled upon this movie on TV and i started around the middle i guess. At first i thought it was going to be pretty good until the moment i saw the sharks. No, it's not because of the CGI, but the reaction of the character feels really off and terrible I don't know if it was the acting or the script's fault, but it's really cringy at that moment. I continued watching until i got to another shark moment and it felt so unrealistic, i couldn't keep watching and well, it was so bad i immediately want to write this review.

Loved the references and nostalgia to the series AND the BFBB games. I'm playing it on PC and unfortunately, I feel Rehydrated was way more polished than this. Cosmic Shake graphics and story are cool. Also dialogues feel a lot more lively than BFBB/R. But gameplay-wise, even the PS2 BFBB plays a lot smoother during combat and world-traversal than Cosmic Shake. Countless times I've found the controls to be a bit clunky and aren't as intuitive as BFBB. I've been finding myself struggling w attacking bubble-captured enemies who always float inconveniently slightly above the ground so you actually have to jump and attack at the right time to hit them instead of hitting them while on the ground. Also, the pizza-gliding mechanics are really bad. I'd say it was rather unnecessary to add. Overall, it's a middle-of-the-road game bcs it feels unpolished on numerous amounts of occasions. Considering these are the same ppl who worked on BFBB and the remaster, I expected something a lot better. 5 out of 10. (I'd give it a 2.5 stars if i could)
