SUMMARY: Sold as a western in the Star Wars universe, that's exactly what it is. Incredible effects with crystal clear 4k. With decent acting and a great look and atmosphere, it's both disappointing and exciting for TON of possibilities. REVIEW: Thumbs up with a caveat: it's slow, very slow. It suffers from what most pilot episodes suffer from: having to set things up. The bar fight opening is the same you've watched on YouTube or the MNF sneak peek (yes, the door does what you think it will). The "twist" of the scene is pretty much broadcast beforehand, but it's still a solid scene. You're introduced to the tribe eventually which leads me to hope more of the Mandalorian mythos will be explored. All-in-all, a pretty basic intro, but I'm looking forward to seeing more.
