I just watched the movie today. The movie was extremely boring. This movie destroyed the code that the Snake Eyes original character stood for. Snake Eyes himself was a ninja. This guy is a pit fighter that had some basic martial arts training from his father at a young age. But nothing more than that. How does a pit fighter go toe to toe with ninja who train all their life? Not believable at all. This movie needed more character development. The original Snake Eyes character was a selfless and extremely skilled ninja/commando with an extreme sense of honor. The original character would have never acted the way he did in the movie, no matter what. I wasn’t expecting a Vietnam vet. That would have been ridiculous. They should have stuck to the original story for the characters. Maybe make him become a Delta Commando in modern age. The story line was not believable at all. If you are a fan, don’t waste your time. This is far from our favorite Joe from issue #21.
