You watch this film and you can see why the Red Army prevailed over their enemy. A great movie, a true story, obviously with artistic embellishment, but an insight into these many young boys who were "Sons of the Regiment" during the Great Patriotic War.

Awesome show, loved every minute of it. A good cast with some great characters. I liked how the story was woven into history following the Soviet-Polish War. The only point I would make is that people need to know who the Whites were as distinct from the Reds, and how they could have allied with the Polish forces. It took me a while to pick up when the action was taking place in that part of Belarus and Ukraine that Poland occupied following the war.

The greatest war film ever made and one of the greatest films ever made. If this film doesn't horrify you, you haven't got a soul. It is a film you will never forget once you have seen it. Come and See will stay with you forever, seared into your memory. This film should be mandatory viewing for everyone, particularly for those in the military.

A wonderful film which gives hope that, sometimes, justice can be won.
