What I liked: Very Good CGI, reminding me of some of the great scenes of Avatar, good acting, possibly some of Angelina Jolie's best work as an actress, better script writing than I expected, a story line that is no more fantastic, than the Lord of the Rings, or Beauty and the Beast, or Sleeping Beauty, There were many right vs wrong points of discussion, discussion of ruling wisely contrasted with the standpoint of hatred and prejudice, There are many points that you could open up for discussion with children or grandchildren. My family might call me a nerd but there are many action films filled with sex and violence costing perhaps five times more than this film cost to make that are inferior to Maleficent. I vote for this film as an excellent family film which I find pleasant and interesting over many other not very well thought out films.
