Mary Poppins Returns was in a word, delightful. Being a lifelong Julie Andrews fan, I still maintain that Emily Blunt portrayed a believably charming Mary. Lin-Manuel Miranda was perfectly cast as Jack (the much-needed Bert like character). The Trip A Little Light Fantastic scene was what I fondly call the London version of the beloved Newsies! Dick Van Dyke was as entertaining as ever! Go. See. It. It has that theatrical flare, where you wish you could clap in the movie theatre after each scene. Twitter @theatricalteach
