The premise, concept and design of Silo are excellent, as is the casting. However, given the show centres around an architectural marvel powered by a complex support system, it needed to maintain mechanical credibility. This is where the direction fails and ends the fantasy for any mechanically minded person. For example, amongst many other dodgy depictions, you can’t repair massive bent turbine blades in a couple of minutes by simply grinding them with an angle grinder. Lots of promise, but lacks realism.
