The show is entertaining- but costs are unrealistic at times - rewire an entire house for $6000? Paint entire fences for $361? I know it’s semi-scripted BUT my biggest issue is DOLMAR’s complete disrespect of Amanda the designer. S6 E12 - after changing the exterior color and Amanda explaining how disrespectful it was of her as a designer to do that without telling her …his reply was “ stop being so dramatic”. That was beyond unprofessional and demeaning to your supposed business partner. The show wants people to believe paint “wasn’t available”. There is NO SUCH THING of a paint color being “unavailable”. Amanda - do you really need Dolmar and his disrespect? A&E- how can you write this kind of script or share such disrespect?
