Unlike terror on the prairie, this movie was okay. It had some filler content and was slow at times. The "action" wasn't awful but wasn't great. There were a few moments they tried to "surprise" the viewer but I expect most people saw everything coming. It wasn't a bad watch, and kept us entertained. I'm not sure I would watch it again but we enjoyed it. I try to support daily wire but I also don't like wasting time on bad movies. Terror on the prairie sucked but Shut In was alright for what it was.

I wanted to like this movie. I really did. I like to support daily wire but... This movie was awful. It was painful. Most of the movie was boring, stuffed to the brim with filler content to extend the length of the movie. The most painful aspect of the film was the "action." Simply put - the wife, God bless her soul, could only hit the side of the barn unless she was a few inches away from the enemy. The husband was not much better. "Sharpshooter" my butt. The only time he actually could make a decent shot was at the very end of the movie because they remembered he was supposed to be a "sharpshooter". The best shot in the entire movie was the little boy. That's sad. All in all, the movie was boring, painful to watch, and now I got my whole family teasing me about picking bad movies on movie night.

First off: this movie is obviously based on the games, but is not the same story. Essentially what they did was take their favorite characters and moments from the video game and slapped them together with a small few "original" moments. The movie felt very rushed the entire time and was mostly filled with unrealistic PG-13 action. It has a sub-par plot with sprinkles of wokeness. The characters don't feel authentic to the video game characters but the actors are popular. I personally didn't find the movie attractive but I will say this: if you never played the games, or you are looking for an exciting movie to watch with your kids or young siblings, this will do the trick.

Hated it. I see lots of positive reviews. Maybe they already knew that the movie was "filmed in reverse" or whatever before watching. If you do watch this I hope you like it. We didn't like it and we were so confused we spent most of the time on our phones and only looking up during action parts. The movie felt like a constant jarring flashback the entire time. I think even if it wasn't "in reverse" I would have still not liked it. The story felt boring and I saw a few things here and there that were unrealistic. They had the actor from the office... That's cool I guess? In my opinion, not worth your time, even enough for me to type all this out

Okay....... Some of the reviews area bit overdramatic but ill try to explain why. The plot is mediocre at best but the reason why everyone hates this movie is after the first few minutes... It gets so boring and confusing. I know it's unfair but I left a few times to leave my roommate watching because I was so bored. This movie is honestly not worth watching even for free. Just watch something else. Pretty much anything else. I know it sounds over the top but this movie was not good at all. My favorite parts of the movie are the background where it was filmed which have lots of green wildlife and blue water. That's the only good thing about the movie. I just wish we watched something else.

Have you ever chewed on a box of nails for two and a half hours? Well maybe some hate it, maybe some love it. This movie was kinda like that. It was rough, start to finish. I'm not sure how I feel about it, other than my teeth hurt
