This show, while no masterpiece, is an enjoyable ride and is worth a watch. My main problems with the show are, it has to many unexplained solutions to problems and the discrimination is barely shown. Besides, in the beginning, we barely see any discrimination between humans and beastmen. We are only told of it, not shown. It makes it sometimes hard to believe that any of the discrimination is that big of a deal like everyone keeps mentioning it to be. It also has a problem with making the solutions to problems new powers or never before explained stuff, like Michiru’s blood being used to cure the disease or Shirou’s howl calming every creature in the city. Other than that it is a very entertains show with good animation, great character designs and fun action scenes. Just don’t go in expecting a masterpiece.
