I'm not sure how someone could read the book and draw any similarities to the movie, besides sharing a name. Taking ANY of the smaller tales in the book and adapting it would have been a relatively easy task, and a far more engaging film. Selling this movie as anything other than a chance to cast Brad in a zombie movie is deceitful and shameful. And that's me being kind. As a stand alone zombie flick, mediocre at best. More of a template on what not to do......unless you want your movie to suck....
