Film delivers an engaging mix of action and comedy, as former agent Park Kang-moo is drawn back into danger while hiding his past from his detective wife, Kang Mi-seon. Though the villain is predictable, the strong performances and chemistry between the leads make up for it, offering a well-executed story that keeps you entertained from start to finish.

"The Union" struggles with a predictable plot and underdeveloped characters, making the action and romantic elements feel cliché. The story's twists lack originality, and the chemistry between the leads falls flat. The film's saving grace is J.K. Simmons, who shines as Roxanne's boss, bringing charisma and depth to an otherwise forgettable spy thriller.
