I recommend reading the books or the first book before watching this movie. Please do yourself a favor. I could spend SEVERAL hours talking about how horrible this movie is compared to the book (s). Okay, if I hadn't read the books, I guess I would've found the movie acceptable even would've given it a solid 3 stars. But the plot was so shattered from the book that I was cringing during the whole movie because WHAT?! Argh! So disappointing overall. We need another Eragon movie: Another Inheritance Cycle. Better yet a freaking TV Show for I do not see how they could fit everything that happens in one single movie or 4 movies. It's a lot and we need a series.

To those criticizing Amy Adams for her role as Lois, I say, you do you. But in my opinion, she is one of the best Lois's. My favorites being Erica Durance along with Bitsie Tulloch and Teri Hatcher. I didn't like the other Lois's simply by the fact that they seemed shallow to me. They always seemed to be obsessed with Superman and didn't seem to give Clark Kent the time of the day unless they were talking to him ABOUT Superman. In short, this movie is worth seeing and Henry Cavil does a superb job as Clark/Superman and he will in my book, always be superman no matter the critics!
