A movie which was both stunning and simple. It has a linear narration with no deviation. Of course, it has cinematic aspects. So what. The old man character does send shivers down your spine. After 3 successful (?) murders, the hero is lined up as the 4 th. You identify yourself with the protagonist si much, that you stand up during the climax. The old man's silent entry into the frame, sets your heart galloping. This is one film which has narrated the difficulty faced by dalit aspirants from a first person perspective. In TN, we folks must go a long way to shed casteism.
