I totally enjoy Rachel each and every night. But I am perplexed that no one has talked about what I think is the real reason for the Trump Shutdown. Trump doesn't WANT to end the shutdown. That's why he keeps coming up with reasons not to. It's truly his last ditch effort to keep out of jail by shutting down the Justice Dept. (which has already begun.) I'm pretty certain that he thinks if the government is shut down for "years," then the statute of limitations will kick in and he's home free. If the statute of limitations is three years, then it only takes one more year to get there. Don't look for him to agree to anything soon. There is only one way out of all of this: The 25th Amendment.
