Wow Wow Wow this is THE most wonderful book I have read in ages.
Jane Smiley brings every one of her characters to life beautifully - it was un put downable!
This is the first of Jane Smiley's books that I have read and it most certainly wont be the last.
I originally bought the book as I loved the cover - simple and full of intrigue.
Bravo and I look forward to reading your earlier books.
