I’m a adult who usually reads adult books but found this and liked the cover and became curious. So glad I allowed myself the pleasure of reading this. Loved Charlie, Bertha, Gus and Howard and almost felt like Wishbone was my own dog. Wonderful characters and touching story.

Acted brilliantly by Melissa McCarthy and Richard Grant, this movie is fascinating but is strangely devoid of drama concerning it subject matter. Worth seeing.
