I spent half of the movie staring at my lap! It was awful... predictable, sad, and depressing. I just read some reviews and comments on the movie, and I have another problem with it. If you have a daughter, it's scary. I know human trafficking exists, but it was too graphic. And ...spoiler alert...he convinced the journalist to help--in a long, boring scene, and then you don't find out how she helped! What i thought they were going to say was to save ALL of the other girls at the he compound. But no....he only wanted revenge. They hinted at it, but it was completely self-serving. Revenge (not surprising) Pure american, down the the Trumpism fear mongering.
