Absolute garbage. We tried three episodes, but fell asleep every time. The plot is ludicrous, and James Nesbitt is awful. Why do producers/directors think he has charm? The ultimate one-dimensional actor.

I knew nothing about Northern Soul music. I did not recognise most of the music. I knew nothing about any of the singers. It was brilliant! I wish I had been there.

Dazzling costumes, stunningly filmed, and some very fine actors. However, the story line is very confusing and jumps back and forwards. I had to look at the cast line up to try to understand the plot.

Oh dear! What is this supposed to be? Who on earth thought it would be interesting to take an irritating character from Death in Paradise and turn him into a very irritating character in Cornwall. Some decent supporting actors, but they are all required to overact and be grotesque.
No second series required. The writing is just awful.
