Okay, so whomsoever is planning to watch The King: Eternal Monarch but is in a dilemma to watch it or not, listen up... I was in the same doubt 3 days ago when I was thinking to start watching the show (i always wait for kdramas to end and then binge watch them- cant stand episode end cliffhangers at all). The main reason was due to the less than average viewership ratings of the show. I literally decide to watch a kdrama or not based on that. But this show (and Healer) made me realise that my judging base was SO wrong. Never make viewership ratings your major factor whether to watch a show or not. Such an amazing drama guys. Dont you dare skip this drama- I truly mean it. Also, EPISODE 11th END IS SOOOOOO AMAZING!!!!! Please watch the show (at least till the 11th episode- you'll definitely get used to it by the 3rd to 4th episode). Such a different story with Lee Min Ho playing a different character than all his previous roles- it takes time to adjust to this change, but please bear with him, you'll get used to Lee Gon soon enough. I cant stress enough on how much this show is worth a watch. Also, the Soundtracks (OSTs) are superb. You'll not be able to take ORBIT out of your head for a LONG time even after ending The King. Please please PLEASE give The King: Eternal Monarch a try, you'll NEVER regret it!!!!!!! HAPPY WATCHING (Remember- Episode 11th End + Orbit: OST)

Okay... If you are reading this review, there's only one thing I'm asking you to do- WATCH. THIS. DRAMA. That's it. Pls don't go on the length of the review and read it till the end. Rating 1000/10 Every single time I watch a drama, it becomes my favourite, so I know that my opinions are not that sturdy, but this is hands down one of the best dramas I have Ever Seen- seriously. What I noticed is that mostly, only 2 OSTs are used in the entire series, ie, 'Highlight' (OST part 1) and 'Eternal Love' (OST part 2) and these two are sufficient. The latter is mostly played when the episode ends (usually in a cliffhanger) and it really intensifies ones emotions- seriously. The cast of this show is PERFECT. I at first didn't know that I'll fall so hard for Ji Chang Wook- even though he didn't actually try to charm anyone- really. Park Min Young was great as the female lead and loved the series- especially after the ending of the 14th episode- you'll know what I'm saying after reaching there. I really did love 'Ahjumma's' character- perfect. I love this show and I finished it today itself- my boards (class 12!!!) are starting next month, but I still don't regret watching this drama one bit. I hope everyone who reads this review watches the drama...
