I had fun, but the game isn’t good. There are frustrating amounts of random events that can and often do happen in chains, these almost always happen to be, engage in a gun fight, engage in another gun fight, get attacked by a wild animal, engage in another gun fight, die. The story is so unrealistic it’s hard suspend disbelief to this level, is this a crazy cult who started becoming violent or an entire army with an entire air division. The seeds (the bosses) are good villains, you want to kill them, you want to get revenge but the fights with them are lack luster to say the least. The blank slate protagonist is boring to say the least, I know that the idea is that it’s easier to identify with them but I find it even hard to do that, because they don’t feel like humans, they feel like robots. This game really is a let down, Farcry 3 really seems like the high point of the series with each game just getting worse and worse and based on the trailer for Farcry 6, it seems like Ubisoft is more concerned with cool vehicles and guns than making a game than making a good game. They just want to make bad CoD clones. I know some people like that but to me it feel empty, devoid of real substance. To put it in words Farcry 3 was a nice dinner, it was fulfilling, enjoyable, and left me satisfied. Farcry 5 is like a bag of potato chips, tasty at first but it just leaves me wishing I had a real meal.
